    Napa Construction is looking for a full-time reliable and experienced heavy equipment operator to join our construction team! The equipment operator will be responsible for the operation of heavy machinery such as backhoes, excavators, tractors, dozers, etc. We self-perform dirt work so the ability to learn and adapt is a must.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures.

    • Ensuring equipment is properly positioned before turning it on and off or loading and unloading it.

    • Ensuring sites are kept clean and safe.

    • Promptly reporting all faults to the Supervisor or Foreman.

    • Performing other construction duties as needed.

    Required Skills/Abilities/Qualifications:

    • Extensive knowledge of heavy machinery operation and capabilities. (Minimum 3 years experience)

    • Excellent mechanical skills.

    • Ability to follow instructions.

    • Strong work ethic

    • In-depth understanding of reading plans and site layouts

    Work Schedule:

    • Full-Time

    • Monday – Friday 7 am to 3 pm

    Compensation:

    Beginning at $22 an hour, depending on expertise. As a company that values its team, this is a negotiable amount!

  • Job Description:

    Napa Construction is seeking a laborer. This is a full-time role that needs a long-term candidate who wants to grow with the company and have future opportunities. Must be capable of adapting! Most of the work centers on storm drains and dirt work. The typical workday is from 7 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday, however, this might vary depending on the circumstances. Depending on the demands of our jobs, overtime may be possible.

    Some Key Responsibilities:

    • Checks daily assignments and coordinates with crew supervisor

    • Assists with excavation needs including digging holes and trenches

    • Cleans job sites

    • Assists with loading and unloading equipment and materials

    • Assists with lifting heavy materials such as large bags of concrete

    • With proper previous training and/or experience, operates various excavation equipment including mini-excavators, and backhoes

    • With valid driver's license and good driving record, may drive various company vehicles on occasion

    • Performs other duties as needed

    Required Skills/Qualifications:

    • Must be able to lift and carry 80 lbs, push pull 80 lbs

    • Stand/walk for up to 8 hrs each day

    • Strong work ethic

    Work Schedule:

    • Full-time

    • Monday - Friday, 7 am - 3 pm

    Compensation:

    $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
